Interesting collection of songs with a diverse and creative style. Jane Kitto has been living in Sweden for the past few years and is now ready to make her mark. The album features songs that were written in the Tanami Desert in Stockholm – a good blend of rock, pop sensibilities and throaty vocals. “How Long” is a fine opening track, while “Don’t Follow Me” is a poignant closing song. “Bus Driver” has already gathered radio airplay. It’s a good positive hard rocking track. Other highlights include the reflective thoughts of “Idiot” and the interesting, string-laced “Untitled”. Honesty in the songwriting shows out very well and there are some terrific forcing guitar moments. This is a fine release and hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy them through live performances this year.
