:: Baddest Mutha

Lisa Pin-Up

Being an attractive female DJ isn’t all that makes Lisa Pin-Up a popular figure on the UK dance scene, although being the face of Nescafe in England hasn’t hurt. She has a strong wicked approach to dance music and her ability has seen her earn a cult following. Lisa proudly presents herself on her CD covers, but she enjoys success as a label owner, producer, and writer also. This album indicates a building sound with wicked sampling. She has had a great time releasing 12” records around the world, and this is a collection of those tracks. In this set, there are eight of her Nukleuz label releases, plus three previously unheard tracks. The main examples to note are the title track “Baddest Mutha”, and “Let’s Go Trippin’”. The hard house beats remind of the early 90s period and it drives ferociously. A terrific album for the collection.
