There is so much to enthuse over this album - get ready to be transformed into a magical euphoria! It is safe to say that you will be seduced by Lucinda’s luminous and angelic voice, while superb musical contributions from the ‘finest’ of the Australian jazz scene, (Don Burrows-flute and co-producer of the album, Kevin Hunt-keyboard/piano, James Muller-guitar, and Daryl Pratt-marimba/vibraphone), similarly entice the listener. While jazz is the predominant genre on this debut (re-released) album, there are also hidden hints of the musical fields, folk and pop. Compositions that will creep their way into your heart, and are highly recommended, include “The Bird’s Sweet Calling”, “Nature Boy” and “Wings”.
