This is a new Melbourne act from a new label. The partnership between well-known producers Jaime Jimenez and John Van Ahlen reaches for a new sound and texture with Mr Jones. We wish them every success in this new venture. Being a pop-dance number, “Better Days” should be considered radio-friendly and gives a sign of scope within. I suppose we’ll need to hear more material to make a better judgement, but the indication is positive, with major labels already being attracted. There are four versions of the song to check out.
