Joey Jordison from Slipknot and Tripp Eisen from Static X are members of this band. It’s a break for each and Joey steps into the role of guitarist here (He is a drummer in Slipknot) and, in fact, resumes a role he had with Murderdolls prior to Slipknot. With a trashy goth/glam style, this is not really in keeping to their band’s respective format. There is still that anthemic, punchy quality and the death-related lyrical content is quite humorous at times. Great horror references are indicated throughout, as for the band’s penchant for such Hollywood movies, and the titles give you that immediacy anyway. The songs seem to offer references also, to some rock-metal bands of the past, and will be easy on the mind of metal followers. http://www.murderdolls.com
