This bass heavy track utilises the contrasting vocals of the three performances, producing an interesting mix of rough, sweet and smooth. There is nothing extraordinary about this song, however the sweet and soft tone and subtle use of vocals by Nivea brings an endearing quality to ‘Don’t Mess With My Man.’ Definitely an evolution from previous work, ‘Don’t Mess with My Man’ has taken Nivea from bubblegum to something more substantial, offering listeners light and shade without sacrificing bouncing drive.
