This is a new version of Nivea’s album that she released last year. There are seven new tracks on this revised edition. Already the latest single, “Don’t Mess With My Man” is doing well in the singles charts. It’s a catchy song. Nivea joins forces with some notable hip-hop artists including Mystikal, The Neptunes, and Jagged Edge, and gives the album some oomph and impact. This is a worthy addition or alternative buying option to the original album. Twenty-year-old Nivea looks destined for even greater things. She conveys her thoughts very well. “The One For Me” is a nice mid-tempo ballad and “Ya Ya Ya” is an infectious relaxed song. “Check Your Man” is another track that should do well for her. It features Mystikal and is near the end of the album, but worth the wait. It is a great collaboration. A couple of low points push the overall quality down but Nivea has undeniable swagger and style.
