There's something about this song that reminds me of that long-lost classic Aussie band Mantissa, but don't let that put you off! This song is great; it's got everything. Part aggro rap, thrash and hardcore and part ethereal layered techno-rock. Nokturnl are such a versatile hard rock band that appeal to a broad cross-section of the Aussie record-buying public in the way that Powderfinger, Regurgitator and Midnight Oil do, and “Haterz” is no exception. It's a dark and moody little number, deliciously produced by Magoo and horribly addictive.
