:: PetePeteThere’s no mucking about with this ten-track album that gets straight to the point. Pete host a variety of feelings jam-packed within 43 minutes, taking full advantage of each one. Pete’s sound is a little dark at times but then loud and angry at others. The songs are mostly slow paced and often begin softer to lead up to a mad release of angst and passion. Regardless of each track’s diversity, every song is tight sounding without a doubt. Catchy guitar riffs in tow with a hint of a ballad here and there; this album is such a diverse and complex piece of work. The first track “Sweet Daze” is definitely a highlight because of its fastest pace and intensity. The band’s diversity and dare-to-be-different attitude makes this album work well to create an overall brilliant piece of work that is absolutely worth a listen. |
