It‘s so nice to see the Australian music industry cross-pollinating their musicians in such a way that dance music guys hang out with hard rockers, pop and alternarockers (remember Pound Systems’ collaboration with Sarah from the Superjesus?). Don‘t get me wrong though, whilst Pound System may be friends with these guys, this is pure dance music. It surfs the dance wave all the way into shore and does it with a vengeance. They enlist the fabulous voice of George's Kate Noonan on the single 'Know who you are’ for a bit of pop cred too, though they've souped it up on the album version so as to not interrupt the thumping dance flow of this sensational Saturday night disk. Buy it. You know it makes sense.
