Being just the forerunner to the upcoming second album, Primary deliver a punchy bass dash at the start of the song to then draw us into a rapidly building sense of verve and energy. With Connie Mitchell’s feisty vocals and strong presence, and the Fonti brothers thumping out a wicked sound, the industrial pop beat is decisive. B-sides are also interesting with the adept use of synth and guitars mixing cohesively on “Common Sense”. This band deserves more plaudits. Can’t wait to hear the album and to see Primary march on to success.
