:: Big Thing

Razel

An all-girl Brisbane band that display a healthy dose of vigour and intensity in this debut album. The band formed four years ago while they were still at school and they have progressed well into a dynamic young force in the growling hard rock stakes. The girls have scored some good supports over the last twelve months and it’s not hard to see why, with crunching riffs and feisty punk-rock attitude. Underpinning the strength of their songs is the melodic treatment and general good-time attitude. The first single released was “Suffer in Submission” and their second one was “Grommet”. They’ve written about crappy-looking t-shirts, yet been insightful enough to make a point in the track “Homeless”. The band’s belligerence is appealing and spontaneous and they are sure to attract as a live act.
