This is an indie release from a Dublin band. There are some lovely songs with classy hooks. The upbeat lyrics and jangling guitars is pretty attractive for a first-time listener to this band. “Tag” is a good example with a gorgeous building tempo that springs towards a dramatic orchestral finale. Singer Martin McCann delivers great vocals and his colleagues offset him with rich textures and stirring instrumentation. This band doesn’t rely on gimmicks in appearance and arrangements.
