This is another great release from Britain. Seafood is a band that will seduce listeners with their infectious guitar pop styling. It’s also a blessing that the new Dew Process label, from the people behind Powderfinger’s management and colleagues, has seen fit to surface with this terrific release, which has been the best part of five years in the making. The rocking choruses and driving guitars are prominent, although not dominant in the band’s make-up. The band can reflect and breathe. It gets to a conclusion in which we take in the spoken word thoughts of “He Collects Dust”. These ten tracks provide an excellent set, filled with energy and indie attitude. It is intelligent and accomplished and I can’t wait to hear more.
