Sia is from Adelaide and has lived most of her recent life in London. With a beautiful vocal range and a charismatic outlook, she has endeared herself to UK and European producers, so much so that she guested on a couple of tracks for acclaimed creative outfit Zero 7. She ahs also toured with them. This is her first album and Sia gives an honest and capable performance. “Taken For Granted” has been a single already and has an inspirational use of strings. “Blow It All Away” showcases her wonderful voice and it’s easy to see why she is in demand. Her low, jazz-infected vocals are an appealing feature on “Sober and Unkissed” and work a treat on “Drink To Get Drunk”. A wide range of organic flavours is produced and the great beats make this album work. She has such a great future ahead.
