With their usual style, Sprung Monkey’s new album “Get A Taste” is just in time for summer. Being the cruisy band that they are, the have been a little quiet lately. The first single to be released is “Party Like A Rock Star”, which is on its way to becoming an easy-to-like summer time ballad with its cruisy guitars and harmonic vocals. Also included, as a double A-sided single, is “American Made”, which tends to lean to the heavy side of Sprung Monkey where they throw away the acoustics and head into the distortion. And the B-side “Half Past A Monkey's Ass” is not even a single. It is just some funny vocals and weird music thrown together to show their audience that they haven't lost touch with their humour.
