:: MachineStatic-XIf you swiped all those early Nine Inch Nails’ sequencers, computers and samples then patched then through a death metal filter, then Static-X would be the result. It's so nice to see that the love children Coal Chamber had with Marilyn Manson are alive and well. This is slick stuff-well produced, in fact probably over-produced-even the band image and CD art is just a little too perfect. Early Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson used to be edgy and current Fear Factory and Tool push the CD art thing much further. These guys polished a little too hard I feel. It's good stuff though. |
