:: In Your Hands

Stella One Eleven

Building from their previous album, “Mr Big Car”, Stella One Eleven look to take the next big step and display their fine, pop characteristics with this latest release. Good production plus the vocal and songwriting ability of lead singer Cindy Ryan help the band move forward. The sad, haunting strains of the title track and the moody “Ice” are matched to the fun, rollicking “Kweer”, and the smooth, sedate feel of “Ruff You”. One of the highlights is the recent single “Loose”, a delightful pop track with infectious chorus and stimulating hooks. Noticeable of their recent work is this merging of a sweet, laid-back sound to a stinging attitude. It’s a cultural embrace of music standards. The good generally outweighs the more moderate tracks, and I am sure that the band is looking to find a solid consistency and inject the necessary flair that will grab wider attention. “In Your Hands” is very easy on the ears and is recommended listening. http://www.stella-one-eleven.com
