:: Poised To Break

Sunday's Best

They are an American band singed to Perth label Redline Records. The album was recorded under the band’s previous line-up, but it still weighs up well within the new structure. With a Police-inspired opening track, “The Hardest Part”, they make a capable start. The remaining tracks follow a polished and solid base with good lyrical content. “Saccharine” is one such example, and that’s received good airplay on the JJJ network in Australia. “Pearl Harbour Day” is a gorgeously, delicate arrangement, symbolic of their worthiness. The band’s versatility and honest delivery sets them up for the future. I’d like to hear their newer material before making a firm judgement, but this CD is a fine introduction.
