Belonging to the Sydney-based Laughing Outlaw Records roster of unique artists, this album is quite a revelation. I hadn’t heard of this Sydney trio previously, but it won’t take long to be soaked up into their spirited, freewheeling music. It’s one thing to get out there and for a group of guys, in this case, to produce some powerful independent songs that, sadly, won’t see its way past a few keen observers and enthusiasts. The band called upon the services of acclaimed producer Tony Cohen and come up with an array of material that doesn’t even need a bass player; such is their big sound. Look forward to hearing more material from them.
