The Frames

Many outside of their country haven’t known the Irish quartet. This is their fourth album and it shows a freedom of expression in virtually introducing themselves to the rest of the world. They called in Steve Albini to help with the philosophy of making them known in America and Australia. The glistening guitars and singer-songwriter Glen Hansard’s soft vocals ensure an interesting listen to these songs. You will feel the songs intimately with a few listens as they build to worthy climaxes. A couple of highlights are “Headlong” and “In The Dream Shade”. It’s a good listen.
