The Long Weekend

Jackie Moffatt and Andrew Tragardh form the duo that is The Long Weekend. They have been in the Melbourne music scene for a few years, so it’s been more than a long weekend to get this debut album finished. It’s taken three years. You might remember them in the band April Seven. For this CD, they have worked with producer Greg Arnold (ex-Things of Stone & Wood singer-songwriter) and engineer Chris Dickie (worked with Kasey Chambers and Dave Matthews Band). The duo delivers vibrant country-pop with catchy choruses and melodic harmonies. Highlights include “Heading For The Sun” and “Everything’s Changed”.
