The Poets Of Rhythm

This is a band from San Francisco who combines some old style production and blends them with a solid rhythm section and vocals to produce a soulful, funky collection of songs. There are grooves galore as they show a creative sense of purpose that is sure to appeal to other modern-day producers. There are no gimmicks; no accentuated attitude, as they provide some booming orchestral moments with aplomb. Check out the wizardry on track 4 “Plus Plus”, with its great vigour in movement and energy. It’s good raw music, particularly for fans of instrumental music. Such examples are “Moira” and “Eulogize The Source”. A fresh, cool sound.
