The Whitlams

The Whitlams have decided to re-release an album from eight years ago. It was recorded before the “No Aphrodisiac” phase that catapulted the band into the limelight. These songs indicate, anyway, that something was on the verge and there was talent to recognise. Therefore, with the essential extra resources that are afforded, The Whitlams can put this in the light. “Met My Match” is a clever song, while “Following My Own Tracks” is good also. The solid relationship-based songs are still present. Whether it can be redressed as a viable record now, remains to be seen.
