The Wolverines

At first listen, this song is just bizarre, but once you get the background story it all makes sense. Inspired by a child who can‘t say 'Cystic Fibrosis’ and thinks his sister has ‘65 roses’, this song is packed full of puns and cliches, but all for a good cause-raising awareness of cystic fibrosis. The Wolverines are Australia's answer to Garth Brooks-country pop rock with a heart twang attached. This CD is pretty heavy going emotionally as the B-side goes straight to the point-no puns here, it tells the reality of cystic fibrosis like it is. Admirable.
