The U2 sound has become so recognisable that it is almost frustrating to listen to. That‘s not to say that 'Elevation’ (from the motion picture Tomb Raider) is not a good track, but there is nothing really exciting about it. Bono is still howling and screaming, and the Edge's guitars are still screeching - seems like we've heard it all before. No great reason to pursue this one track single - well maybe just for the photo of Angelina Jolie on the cover!
