After a successful album release in 2000, the Moonlight project continues their growing brand name with a second volume of entertaining, laid-back music to suit the temperament of a lazy summer’s night. The compilation sets a particular mood for a particular time in the fulfilment of a chillout zone. Suitably, artists such as Zero 7, Groove Armada, Aim, and Ian Pooley play a role. Because of its motive, it may not totally suit all that are familiar with the best work from these artists. But it’s appeal and effect for this occasion is most worthy, with the cool, ambient sounds and slightly more uptempo house numbers. This volume brings it all together in a tangible fashion. While frolicking at the beach or just lying in the sun, you can’t go too far wrong with these sounds in the background. It also comes with a CDROM component.
