Formed in Germany in 1998, this is a musical community that networks new ideas and fuses into a most entertaining collection. There are acoustic-based tracks to soften the mood, while good variation exists when you proceed through tracks containing a gentle flute that hovers over bass and drums. The sultry female vocals glide in and blend the music beautifully. It’s hard to differentiate the quality. It’s all pretty worthwhile listening, except to highlight Track 6 “Illicity Pt.2”, which drives fervently in a funky drum ‘n’ bass rhythm. There are fine keyboards on “Quatre Neuf” by Nootropika, and another interesting track is the last one “Run” by Micatone, that stands out as a gorgeous soulful moment. A cool way to finish. Great variety of musicianship makes this a recommended CD.
