A collection of songs, such as these thirty-eight tracks, give music lovers a chance to grab some of the recent hits all in one big hit. You wouldn’t have missed many of these on the radio because most have commercial appeal, while the remainder has found airing on the JJJ network often. Disc One highlights include fabulous ready-made hits such as “Sky” by Sonique, “Lady” by Modjo, and “Beautiful Day” by U2. “The Rockafeller Skank” short edit by Fatboy Slim makes a welcome appearance. That song opened up his music to a wider audience.
Disc Two opens with two of today’s finest performers in Anastacia (I’m Outta Love) and Jennifer Lopez (Let’s Get Loud), plus several big names in the R&B scene, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Toni Braxton and Destiny’s Child. Towards the end of this disc, some other fine contributions come from Kandi, Strawpeople, Sisqo (his marvellous “Thong Song” and Bleachin’s “Peakin’rounds off a terrific collection.
