You would have noticed from our previous reviews of Buddha Bar sets that there is something unique and substantial about the music compiled. There was a culture attached to the life of Siddharta, who would become Buddha, and the music expresses this development. Celebrated DJ Ravin pays due respect to Siddharta by conjuring up tracks that breathe emotion and passion. This is a fine introspective collection. Ravin had been responsible for the Buddha Bar III CD. This album is inspirational in the way that he has gathered tracks by a vast array of artists. A couple of notable ones are Femi Kuti and Nicos. Dreamcatcher, Ziroq, and Bliss add their seductive moments. Siddharta captures the spirit of the Buddha Bar series with ambience and techno components. One should sit back and take this ride through these intoxicating sounds. It’s a glorious means of blending everything together, and it’s great listening.
