Waikiki

While being in typical catchy form, this is a good rock blast from Waikiki and shows a moodier side to the band. Joel Stein takes over lead vocals from his sister Juanita and shows plenty of gusto. There are two bonus non-album tracks, “It’s Alright” and “Under The Bed”, and both show the true Waikiki pop style with a darker edge again. The latter song, in particular, has a terrific uptempo vibe. It’s another fine release from this fine band.
