Zed

They’ve enjoyed big success in their home country. Now, New Zealanders Zed is set to soar to great heights in other regions. This is an album of quirky pop rock that shows the early stage of development for these guys. Some of these songs were written whilst they were in their mid-teens. The guys are now in their early 20s and they have a zest for performing and writing catchy songs. The first single “Renegade Fighter” has already found new fans in Australia, with its Oasis-like sound, while we sample edgier tracks through “I’m Cold” and “Driver’s Side”. There is a bit of sweetness, and a bit of angst to provide a worthwhile gauge to their variations. There’s a good rock sound already, and an underlying flow of infectious melodies and quality vocals that lead to optimism for the future.
