This is from a Brisbane outfit and is their first release. Marta Ray has a seductive tone in her voice and, with cool variations, can translate this set of funky songs into “Abstrackt Fusion”. She puts your mind at rest. Track 2 “Awe” contains a brooding sound and interesting vocal effects. “Rapid Fire” kicks in strongly as a breakbeat track and the emotion of “Bristola” is a fine showcase of Marta’s talent once more. With solid production skills and sampling methods, this EP is something to note.
