An interesting single here from a Brisbane production team The Goodboys and vocals from ex-Stiff Gins member Mihirangi (pronounced Mee-hee-rung-ee). With this being a reworking of the old Nina Simone song, Mihirangi’s soulful, effortless vocal style lends itself effectively to this song, a part of the “Feeling Good” campaign in encouraging young women to quit smoking. Therefore, it is encouraged that young women across Australia become aware of the song. Hopefully, this song will become well recognised. Certainly, Mihirangi’s voice has been well selected to undertake the task.
