The Kiwi band showed good form on earlier releases and they continue to develop into a clever outfit, writing cool melodies and providing fun-filled lyrics. Their guitar and keyboards combine effortlessly in sparking the bounce and rhythm necessary for great pop tunes. “Buck It Up”, the lead single, has terrific chord progression and general good fun attached. However, there are sevewral other good tracks that give a good even quality. The use of acoustic guitar is well practised and shows up on “My Racing Head” and closing title track “Fiji Baby”. “Lucy” is a good party tune too. Overall, you'll enjoy listening to this very good band, who are keen to expose some fun tunes and capable musicianship to the masses.
