At about the two minute mark, when Cookie Jar degenerates into biscuit/women metaphors, the identity of the sole demographic Gym Class Heroes could ever rightly appeal to becomes clear. Millions of people from all walks of life listen to hip hop, but only those in the very doldrums of adolescence could bring themselves to listen to this rubbish. Hip hop works for me if the production is appealing and the artist is charismatic: both qualities are uncompromisingly lacking from Cookie Jar. We all make poor musical choices in our youth, and Cookie Jar is one such mistake waiting to happen.
