This Perth band has emerged strongly in recent times and their development has resulted in greater confidence and oomph in the sound. They had travelled overseas to work on preparing for ‘Breed Obsession’ and made a point of keeping in touch with Australia‘s music media, which is slightly unusual, but something appreciated. This third album of their career is somewhat of a breakthrough that now sees them placed amongst the best in Australian pop-rock. There is a good balance of soft and hard with gentle and driving sounds - strong guitar riffs with piano interludes. There is the anthemic 'Australia’ song, the bounce and verve of latest single ‘1981’, and the menacing force of ‘All In One’. There is a real determination to do well and they have fulfilled my expectations in producing one of the best Australian albums this year, and one that will set them up for greater things. This band is really going places!
