:: Helloween - Keeper Of The Seven Keys - The Legacy - World Tour 2005/2006 - Live In Sao PauloHelloweenFollowing on from the success of 2005’s highly anticipated ‘Keeper Of The Seven Keys - The Legacy’, legendary German speed/power metal outfit/pioneers Helloween set out on an extensive year long world tour, which saw the band take in over one hundred concerts in forty countries. In celebration of their triumphant tour, the band eecorded three shows across three continents (Brazil’s Sao Paulo, Japan’s Tokyo and the Czech Republic’s Vizovice), which has resulted in the band’s second live/DVD release with Deris on vocals. Recorded primarily in Sao Paulo in March 2006, in front of a sold out crowd of six thousand fans, the double CD/two hour ‘Keeper Of The Seven Keys - The Legacy - World Tour 2005/2006 - Live In Sao Paulo’ leans heavily set list wise in favour of the three ‘Keeper Of The Seven Keys’ albums (1987, 1988 and 2005), with the epic ‘The King For A 1000 Years’ from the third instalment spearheading the first disc’s set. The production is especially noteworthy, with the clarity of the band’s performance mixed perfectly amongst the responsive crowd, while the performance itself is everything you would expect of seasoned live act such as Helloween. The high standard is kept up throughout the remainder of the Sao Paulo set, with tracks such as ‘Eagle Fly Free’, the massive ‘Keeper Of The Seven Keys’, ‘Mr. Torture’, ‘The Invisible Man’, ‘Mrs. God’, ‘I Want Out’ and ‘Dr. Stein’ being the obvious highlights. The only blight on the whole set is the crowd participated ‘Future World’. Although the crowd seem to be enjoying themselves interacting with Deris, it does tend to drag a little after ten minutes with only the audio reproducing what was sure to be a magic moment for the crowd in the flesh. | ![]() http://www.helloween.org |
