This is a very strong single from Brisbane band Her Majesty’s Finest. Heady rock beats with just a dash of punk attitude make for an exhilarating release. The recording method used has given the band a very authentic 70’s rock sound, the unprocessed and non-tweaked further helping them build credibility. This rough and ready style really suits them, and consequently makes their music not only enjoyable, but is also a nice change of direction from the over polished radio friendly rock/pop we hear every day. A single sure to get rotation on JJJ, if nothing else it cements even further my belief that Brisbane is fast becoming the music capitol of Australia.
