Hilary's all grown up and she looks really good. That's about all the positive things I can say, however. She may look mature, but her music is a lame version of a pop/dance CD that has no real substance. She claims to have written most of the tracks on the album and when listening to some of the lyrics; it’s not something I would admit to. A lot of the lyrics are rather cliché and so unoriginal. A line in the song ‘Dignity’ beings ‘You got those Jimmy Choos, you got it, you never get the blues…where’s your dignity, I think you lost it in the Hollywood Hills’. I mean she claims and makes remarks about the ‘Hollywood Life’ but like she can talk, she has valley girl written all over her face. I guess because of her public life and past relationships you can figure out who the songs are all about, like the song ‘Danger’ is about a guy who is bad for you…no surprises there. All the tracks are upbeat and are well produced but vocally I think she struggles to put on the deep sultry voice, which is why most of her vocals on the album sound re-enhanced. She probably can sing but the direction she is going in I don’t think can work for her, but then I don’t know what can?
