Iris

They are a typical feisty rock band in all the traditions of the Melbourne pub scene. Iris is the sort of band who will drive a live crowd into a positive response with solid and soft pop songs, though not breaking out into something overly fresh and impacting. This self-titled EP contains catchy tracks with an upbeat feel and the guitars come crunching down hard. Good energy is shown on most tracks and I am confident that they can build upon this and continue developing into effective musicians. The enthusiasm and energy shown so far is encouraging.
