From a hard upbringing comes a characteristic displaying strength in personality and resolve – a growing purpose to set one’s own agenda and not pulling any punches. Israel has endured many hardships on the way to reaching the point of this solo album. The hard slog will continue but his emergence shows the determination to succeed and provides messages for all, particularly in the R&B, hip-hop scene that things can happen if the motivation is there. Israel has been producing material for several talented Australian artists and he has become noticed in some overseas circles too. He brings in some contributors to create a diverse set of songs. Assisting him in the production are local names Prince Ali and Kristian. Vocal performances demonstrate fine quality and it’s a worthy effort by a thinking and calculating musician.
