Jasmine Rae is a young Australian country music talent who has the world at her feet. At twenty years of age she has released her debut album ‘Look It Up’ and it showcases her remarkable vocal talent that allows her to stretch the boundaries - featuring a unique mix of raw country, pop and country blues. The album was recorded in both Australia and the US with two of Nashville’s leading record producers - Richard Landis and expatriate Australian Mark Moffatt. Jasmine is funny, fresh and, even though she’s small in stature, the Melbourne-based singer/songwriter has a powerful, professionally-trained voice. In being able to write her own music, and being a marketing strength with her looks, Jasmine can give country music a fresh outlook. Already the song ‘Country Singer’ has done well for her. Now, another single ‘Pink Guitar’ - an edgy catchy country rock number is set for release. These are just two well penned tracks. Her American twang may be unfortunate for some Australians but it could set her up for a long career outside Australia.
