This is a new venture for a guy that I've known to be one of the most likeable in the Australian music scene over the past ten years. Ex-Taxiride lead singer Jason Singh has embarked on a solo career and has released his first single “I Can Dream”. I am giving my opinion some weeks after its release as I have been overseas on holidays but I understand that the song has received a good response in the press and on certain radio outlets. It's a way for Jason to indicate that he's back with new purpose and new endeavours. It's not surprising about the response as it has a great upbeat dance-laden chorus and Jason is in exceedingly good vocal form. Notable too that Charles Fisher (producer behind Savage Garden) is working with Jason. It adds up to potentially an exciting new step in Jason Singh's career and we'll hear much more from him throughout 2011. This is an excellent start to his new musical journey.
