Jet is back and sound like, well, Jet. If you know the name of this track and remember the melody from Cold Hard Bitch, you can already sing-a-long. In a world spinning out of control, it’s almost comforting to know Jet is still doing what it does best. You can almost breathe-in the second hand smoke as Nic Cester croons “You can be the sinner and I’ll be the sin”. It’s fun, it’s loose and it’ll get your foot tapping on the sticky carpet. Extra tracks: Hold On is a country tinged Beatles homage, and The Night is Yours sounds like it was recorded in the studio on the back of a few beers. The verdict: If you loved Jet the first time (or pretended you didn’t but secretly thrashed the CD to death on your car stereo) this single might convince you to take a gander at the long player Shine On.
