When an artist has disappeared from the music world for five years you would expect their comeback single to be a virtual masterpiece. Unfortunately, that simply isn’t the case for American born, Australian based urban artist J-Wess. I can’t see ‘Anything For You’ being the song that will re-launch J-Wess’s career. He tries to re-create the sexy-urban sound that some many urban artists have used for chart success recently… but unfortunately he just sounds lame. There is nothing in either the lyrics or music that captures the listener and it sounds like a million other tracks that are already out there. Songs are hit or miss, and this is certainly a miss.
