Who is Vlad The Impaler? He is said to have lived over 500 years ago, between 1431 and 1477. An unforgiving beast more commonly known to the masses as Dracula. He was born is the sunny town of Translyvania. He ruled for about seven years and will be most remembered for his terrifying and brutal methods of cruelty which have haunted the stories of legends told even today. ‘Vlad The Impaler’ is the fourth single to be taken from Kasabian‘s critically acclaimed album, 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’. It is foot-stomping, tough song and high quality from this capable band. The overall sound is uplifting and powerful – I can see this as a definite festival crowd pleaser. On high volume you can feel the excellent production and their typically offbeat style.
