Not entirely cheese-free, but pretty damn close. Kaskade delivers a pretty good mix on his first compilation for new label Ultra. His trademark heavy, jacking beats and big room vocals (some of which work better than others) come together for an energetic, driving mix and one which - with the exception of a few bad track choices - will please die-hard fans and no doubt win the producer-DJ a whole heap more. Chicacgo mainstay Johnny Fiasco, fellow OM artist Troydon, Joey Youngman and Milton Jackson all feature, as does Australia’s own Dirty South, who delivers his tough remix of Kaskade’s own ‘Sorry’. Worth picking up.
