Kate Miller-Heidke has a message to send everyone in her debut EP “Telegram.” The message is in the simple words, “I don’t need to sleep to dream” found in the single “Space They Cannot touch.” And like all dreamers we should follow the words of John Lennon, “I hope some day you’ll join us and the world will live as one.” In the meantime, we can embrace the music of Kate. She has featured alongside Chrissy Amphlett (of The Divinyls) and Jenny Morris in the “Seasons of Woman in Voice” and with this fine company you know the music will be great. Pop/folk music with a sweet, soulful voice, it’s hard to miss that message.
