Keren Ann

Keren Ann is an Israeli singer-songwriter who has a lovely angelic voice amid interesting arrangements. She is quite introspective and creates heartfelt situations. Such is her style in that some of her music has been used on certain USA television shows. Maybe, however, there is something that doesn't quite grab full attention and it could have something to do with the fact that this album is her first solely English-speaking album. It is a little disjointed. Perhaps the romantic moods, notably told in French, are not able to be translated to the English song structure.
